It’s Valentine’s day, and my Weekly Wishlist has nothing to do with it … well, maybe the message is appropriate. Quiet delights – can be a nice theme to celebrate for Valentine’s day, don’t you think? A nice break from all the “loudness” of this day perhaps…
I chose these items because when I look at them, I feel a quiet delight. Mainly due to the patterns, the materials and the colours. The bird is by far my favourite. The image was taken by photographer Brett Colvin. How amazing are those feathers! I just can’t stop looking at it.

ps. Yesterday we made some Valentine’s fortune cookies out of felt and stuffed them with funny/romantic fortunes. We distributed them to our colleagues this morning. It was quite fun. Mina, from our sister blog (wehearthome.de) wrote a post about it. See us in action.
