This Interior of the Week is of Netta Natalia’s (of Likainen Park) wonderfully monochromatic home. For those into the whole black and white interiors thing, this should be exciting. The building is an old factory and I can’t believe how wonderfully styled and beautiful everything is – I am jealous! She describes her interior style as one which favours “lots of black and white with a hint of grey”.
There is a great cohesion throughout her home aesthetic – and I absolutely adore this dedication! While I myself would choose slightly differing colour schemes for each room with a binding thread or motif, I have to admit this works really well – with characterisic accesories and features in each room to ensure visual diversity.
Great use of different prints here – lovely strong stripes really draw my eye! I think its really cool that she has used different visual levels for the lamp, the ladder and the basket. This makes it all the more interesting, while giving order and clarity to the room’s layout.
Another great example of her accessorizing genius! There is an astounding attention to detail here. The mixture of the plants, candles and use of jars is simplicity at its most charming and brings some personality to what could otherwise have been a pretty sombre black and white look.
A very attractive use of lines here to draw our attention – the mesh chair with its criss-cross lines and the feature letter “Z”.
The poof and the candlesticks are my two favourite pieces of this entire interior… Which are yours?
What do you think? Too grey or perfectly done?
Have a lovely weekend!
❤ Trisha

I LOVE this interior, it’s just so cleverly and creatively put together. My favourite is the lamp, ladder and basket arrangement. My verdict: perfectly done!
Thanks Catherine – I agree.

Hi, lovely to meet you. I came to your blog via a rather convoluted way. From browsing prints at the One must dash website and then clicking on various links. I still love the monochrome palette, although I can see the backlash of pastels making its way this summer and that ever predicted pops of green. I was in Stockholm lately for MTB, did go to museet moderna, gutted I didn’t buy the Warhol print. Anyway, managed to lug a Theresa Sennerholt print home at least! I’m going to the Hive too, really looking forward to meeting you both :) x
Hi Geraldine!
Thanks for stopping by! How was MTB? So jealous!
Glad you like the interior! I checked out your blog – looks lovely.
