When I came across the residence of Eva and Gentry Dayton on Remodelista, I knew I needed to make it an Interior of Week. I find the interior design and decor so edgy and bold, a wonderful mixture of smoothness and rawness. Eva describes the interior style as “tough minimalism” and says:

I like clean and simple, Gentry likes more rough and dirty. So we do both, but keep it minimal.

I think they compomise very well.

The couple own Eva Gentry – a fashion boutique which has also extended their specialty to interior design. Clearly they have a knack for design and styling. I love the monochromatic colour scheme, where small pops of colour can have quite the impact and textures are crucial to creating interest and dimension.

    These are fabulous! So many great ideas here. ANd I love the black teddy bear in the crib. And thank you guys so much for your support in my new etsy shop opening. I owe you girls an email…..will this weekend but of course I would love to collaborate with you all.

    I love bits of it, like the helmets (wow), what a collection. I also love the edgyness.
    For me, there is a bit of colour missing, but hey, you can’t have it all.
    Nice find.
