I was browsing through Nendo‘s recent projects and came across this very sweet Air Leaf Mini. Designed for Mikuni, it’s basically a small air purification device that you can attach the frame of your indoor fan. The flowing air passes through the device, through these tiny beads that are infused with fir tree oil extract. This naturally reduces carbon dioxide in the air along with the production of radical oxygen. The little sprout grows taller and taller as the air becomes cleaner and cleaner, so you can determine the health of your indoor air with just a quick glance.
I think the design is really cute, while still being minimal and modern. It’s the perfect touch of fun for an even healthier home.
I would definitely clip one onto the fan in my office.
What do you think?

I always toy with the idea of an air purification device… can never quite bring myself to get one, although believe they are great in a bedroom for reducing carbon dioxide.
This is definitely a cute design, less formal than its contemporaries;-)
Thank you for sharing x
A very curious design and I wouldn’t have attributed it to nendo had you asked me who it was from. But it’s sweet… would it work with my Frevd fan – probably not.
Thanks for sharing Holly xx
This is an interesting concept since I feel like my fans are spitting out the little tiny dust particles already in my home. Thanks for sharing this!
